DealerCamp 2012 Video Wrap Up
July 25th-27th - Deer Valley Resort - Park City, Utah
DealerCamp 2013, now moving into its fourth year, is poised to be the next big thing. Imagine manufacturers meeting with hundreds of retailer buyers in the great outdoors? As Jill Hamilton of shebeest puts it, “DealerCamp is real, with miles of real trails, real roads, real air and real trees as opposed to the “fake” environment that goes down in a typical trade event held in and around a concrete building. This couldn’t be further from where cyclists aspire to be!” and we couldn’t agree more with Jill.
Industry brands are provided with a timely and epic stage to conduct a more intimate style of business with the country’s top retailers, squarely during a critical time in the launch and buying cycle. DealerCamp’s welcoming format and high level of customer service create the best possible atmosphere for conducting business. The program is simple, we call it: Meet, Ride & Decide.
New is the addition of a Public Day to the 4th edition of DealerCamp. The event will be staged slightly later in the traditional 4th week of July time frame, with dates of Thursday, July 25th and Friday, July 26th as full trade days and Saturday, July 27th as its Public Day. The robust quantities and quality of consumers in and around Salt Lake City and other key markets in Utah should be very attractive to DealerCamp’s 2013 exhibitors, as this region of the country has been starving for cycling brands to show their products and meet with riders new and old.
The schedule of activities for the three-day event will be developed over the next several months, but Lifeboat Events assures there will plenty to see and do for retail attendees, as well as hungry consumers.
DealerCamp is held at the Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah—an epic, easily accessible location just 40 minutes from Salt Lake City International Airport that offers everything manufactures of all segments need to showcase new products, while providing a high-quality experience for attending retailers and media.
“Deer Valley is extremely excited about the new Consumer Day that will be a part of next year’s DealerCamp,” said Bob Wheaton, president and general manager. “We have enjoyed working with Lifeboat for the last few years and have been extremely impressed with the effort and results of their events. The entire town of Park City will open its arms to the bicycle industry in looking forward to next year’s DealerCamp with the new Consumer Day added.”
DealerCamp is run by Lifeboat Events, a company comprised of bicycle industry veterans who care deeply about finding the best ways to serve the bicycle industry’s needs.
